Vintage mid-century red lobster-shaped covered dish with lid, made in Czechoslovakia and dating to approximately the 1960s.
This charming figural ceramic dish features a glossy red finish, sculpted lobster form, decorative black facial detailing, and a fitted lid. The underside is marked “MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA.”
The exact factory maker is not confirmed from the visible mark. Similar examples have been attributed to PV/Peasant Village Czechoslovakia, but this piece should be described primarily by its confirmed Czechoslovakian origin.
