A beautiful antique Nippon hand-painted porcelain tableware set featuring a scenic lakeside/landscape plate accompanied by four matching-style salt and pepper shakers.
The centerpiece is a 9.5-inch round Nippon plate with two open handles, decorated with a softly painted landscape featuring a large tree, water, distant shoreline and warm yellow, gold and brown sunset tones.
The underside carries the distinctive green crown mark with “HAND PAINTED” and “NIPPON.” Nippon-marked Japanese porcelain belongs to the historic 1891–1921 Nippon period.
The set includes:
