Beautiful antique Japanese Nippon hand-painted porcelain vase, dating to the early 20th century, approximately 1911–1921 / circa 1920.
The vase features an elegant blue green/turquoise porcelain ground decorated with delicate pink and white flowers, yellow flower centers and green foliage. The upper section is enhanced with hand-painted geometric decoration, gold accents and raised beaded/moriage-style detailing.
Two ornate gold-tone loop handles complete the decorative form.
The underside carries a Nippon-era Japanese porcelain mark. Nippon was the country designation used on Japanese export porcelain before the change to “Japan” marking in 1921.
