A beautiful antique French Limoges porcelain bowl, marked D & C France, attributed to R. Delinières & Cie of Limoges, France.

The bowl features a charming hand-painted strawberry and foliage design, with strawberries and delicate white blossoms surrounding a softly colored interior. The distinctive dark beaded/scalloped border adds an elegant Victorian character.

The D & C France mark is associated with the Delinières porcelain works in Limoges and is generally dated to approximately 1894–1900. Based on the mark and the Victorian styling, this example is best described as circa 1894–1895.
